I apologize if I came off as rude, but this is just one of many unfortunate opinions that people have on infectious diseases that push a very negative stigma. In terms of humans having sex with chimps, this has been historically used to ridicule and mock HIV infected individuals and push the notion that having this infection means you engaged in gross or hedonistic behavior. Im sorry if you thought I was pushing an infectious stigma. But I literally thought that about those viruses . But yeah I know that infectious diseases don’t come from nasty things like that but I actually thought those two did. Also can I say I LOVE VIRUSES. I took a microbio class my senior year of high school and viruses are so amazing. I actually had thoughts about studying virology but I chose actuarial Science cause I love math more!
