streaming needs to be stopped. @ billboard what is y'all doing?

with that said, i respect Post and enjoy his music so much. Everyone deserves to have a time to shine and be successful.

keep in mind only 153,000 were pure sales. and the album is already Platinum. I have nothing against him, but let's go back to the days when pure sales actually mattered. This way these achievements are more meaningful.

I think what's more unfair is how what counts as a Hot 100 charter has changed. It used to be only for SINGLES. Now the whole concept of singles are irrelevant because any song can chart, including trash memes and album interludes... If this new format is supposed to be more accurate and give more opportunities for indie artists to shine, then I'd rather have the old format since all I see is less manufactured music but more random trash being let in...

The Beatles in my opinion are the most overrated legends ever. So I'm unphased by their record being broken

So this is what the industry has become? Someone with hardly a lick of actual talent mumbling about nothingness is beating out The Beatles? This is a dark time in our society. I'm extremely disappointed tbh.

Before joining in on the hate bandwagon I gave it a listen and I regretted it instantly. I thought it was awful and incredibly basic. Such a shame that new singers like him are overturning some of the best records made by some of the best artists of all time.

The Beatles had a super sh*tty vocals and frankly I found the music pure garbage with maybe 2 or 3 exceptions

This is just my opinion. I agree with that user

It doesn't take much to surpass the Beatles tbh

Those awful singers wouldn't of gotten one shred of success if it wasn't for the timing they came out at

I like quite a few. Madonna, MJ, and my fav of all time...ABBA!!!!

To me the Beatles were garbage. They can't even sing for beans on top of that

But quality music is also highly opinionated so that's why I say "in my opinion"
