And we saw her in studio the past few days. Her fibro is not an excuse for every events that she don’t (didn’t) show up. She said she suffer since 2012 and she did a lot of things during BTW, ARTPOP, CTC and even Joanne. That’s was my point. This woman has depression, ptsd, fibromyalgia, several addictions, and is borderline for lupus. She doesn't even play the victim card as much as she could. Get off your own damn high horse. Just because she is not eternally suffering doesn't mean she can't get a break. Are you Lady Gaga? Do you know how she personally works? Gaga is human. She was not put on this earth for you or anyone else. The fact that shares anything at all with her horribly needy fandom at this point is a miracle. Pop Music 20,540
I just hope she is doing ok. I'm much more concerned on how she is feeling physically, mentally and spiritually. That is most important, that's what we should care about. Sure I am 100% sure we would all love her to take the wigs of the pop girls but if that's not what she wants to do then that's not what happens. End of story. We have to accept that sometimes people just might want to snuggle up and watch a movie with their boyfriends or hang out with their friends or spend time with family. It isn't a law that she has to go? So why are we making it seem as though she is over and is betraying us. She doesn't owe us a reason to why she isn't going if she isn't. Some of ya'll need to grow up. Pop Music and Lady Gaga forever!

When I have fibro flare-ups sometimes I can't even find the strength to go from my bed to the bathroom. Do you not think that she is upset too when her body isn't able to do what she used to and has to cancel? Just because it is an invisible illness does not mean it is not real and it is not an excuse for not wanting to do something. Pain isn't something to joke around with and it's disgusting that you would post this and can even call yourself a Gaga fan. Knowledge is key and you my friend need to wake up and get a large dose of it Calm down, I'm not your friend, so watch your tone. I didn't say that she wasn't suffer or said that she was fainted it, I never said it wasn't real to her, so stop transforming my words ! All I said is that the fibro is not here everytime in her body. That's all ! That's crisis. Maybe you should try to understand a point a view instead judge it, and you should take a large dose of knowledge too.

Throughout 2009-2012, Gaga was hailed as one of the most brilliant and successful businesswomen in the entertainment industry. Her ability to form personal connections with her fans was unparalleled and drove ticket, album and merch sales. No pop star at that time had a core fan base that large and dedicated. Just like her meteoritic rise to fame, milking this connection can only take you so far. The brand she had created was so strong, you not only create a toxic and dangerous relationship, it took 2 whole eras for public opinion to change. I really think this is why Troy bailed on her. Her milked her career dry and then abandoned her without a care for longevity. Anyway, I don’t want to turn this into a discussion about Troy. Gaga’s trajectory was unsustainable and she’s still feeling the effects now. I hope when the next mega pop star comes around, they’re able to do something that no one’s ever done before without such severe repercussions. Yes. Being close to fans only gets you so far before it turns toxic, as all fandom do. Even in other media fans can be poisonous. I think gaga will have longevity, but akin to Madonna or Michael, because I believe gaga will do much more creative things other than singing and acting. Jacob Marley 538
I’m not gonna lie - I’m totally in the Realistic ‘She’s not doing anything until 2019 musically or publically’ Camp but I genuinely expected her to go to this. Like...this is your brand. This Gala is the most Gaga event of the year.

You said it's an excuse when she wants to use it which comes across as extremely ignorant and I hear it all the time. I'm sorry if I went off on you but I, as well as many sufferers of this illness, are told all the time that we are faking pain in order to use it as an excuse for being lazy and not wanting to do stuff and I'm tired of hearing that. Your "point of view" can be very offensive to those who have an illness like this. I don't know what knowledge I need to get considering this conversation so I don't really know what to respond to that lmaooo. Anyways, it's National Fibromyalgia Awareness Day here in the US on May 12th so it's a great opportunity for you to read up about it since there will be articles easily available for you to find. I highly recommend you learn about it and see if your opinion changes at all from today. cool

Then you really need to go over your own post. It comes off as "I'm a fan! I'm important! Gaga is suspicious and lazy!" And do not tell me the subtext isn't there because you would not have been quoted 10 times if it wasn't. Also as someone who is experiencing depression it is really difficult to create something normally. Its extraordinarily difficult to create something with interference like depression or illness. Actually one shouldn't even create things unless in a healthy mindspacd.

She has the perfect window to inch her way slowly towards a full blown Fall comeback but... whatever. I don’t want Gaga to regress to her old style or what. I just want to see her passion back. spending 10 hours flying to and back from New York for the sole purpose of wearing a nice dress, being seen, and hobnobbing with celebrities has absolutely nothing to do with "passion" of any sort, especially not with her music. Mr S 8,672
Hasn't LG only gone like 3 times in 10 years? Her attendance rate is only 30%. Can't be too shocked she skipped.
Smother Em Eh 7,131
If only she went. She would’ve slayed so hard. She even would’ve put Rihanna to shame Get Applause & G.U.Y to 1B views!
freebit 6,240
Anyone distraught over her not going needs to log out and get a damn grip. Attending the Met Gala, while fun for us at home to look at, sounds like hell for an anxiety sufferer to attend. Celebs hate it. Let her be. It's not even an important event in the grand scheme of things.
