God Control 2,181
The problem is that a lot of people fail to understand that being a celebrity isn't just some privilege and being an artist isn't just someone with too much free time and so many great ideas who started to create something purely out of talent and love. Being an artist is a job, most of the time, especially in case of these celebrities. They don't just work because they love working nor just because they truly feel what they create or even enjoy doing all these performances, tweets, photo sessions, albums, movies and appearances, it's because it's their job too and they have to do these things to make sure they stay relevant and successful, and it's nothing shameful at all. Some fans and celebrities complain that "they're being treated like a money-making machine", well that's because a huge part of them is indeed a money-making machine and those companies, studios, record labels don't hire you because they like your good manners nor because they admire your looks, it's because they see potential in you to bring them a lot of money. So while it's a shame that the fact that the entertainment industry is killing creativity or somehow trying to make celebrities feel stressed, it's also a business that needs to get going. Just like doctors, engineers, designers, lawyers, pharmacists, dancers..etc. may have to work when they're tired, stay extra hours out at work or awake finishing stuff, even when they don't feel like doing any of it, they still do it in order to continue to have a job.
