DirtyRichHooker 352 Posted August 13, 2012 Share Posted August 13, 2012 I remember back in the 1990s when my auntie was alive and healthy, we went to her house and she gave us loads of personal photographs of the Spice Girls on set of Say You'll Be There that she got from one of her friends that was working on the video, and she gave us teddy bears too.. While watching I could help but notice how all of them look younger now than they did back in the 90's, and they're 36-40. Mind boggling really. So back then in 2007 my brother is always listening to this song called "2 become 1" I ignored it. Until 2008 came. Hahaha, I got so annoyed and I grabbed his Spice CD and looked at it. I asked "Who are these girls". So I just looked into the lyrics, then i played the first track. I was so surprised to hear " Yo I'll tell what i want what I really really want.." And i was like, they sang this song, & it's called Wannabe!!! So I played all their songs 2 become 1, Love thing, Naked etc., I asked my brother about them, he told me that they were Posh, Baby, Scary, Sporty & Ginger "and they were old". I went to the internet to search about them, I clicked Wikipedia and their Main picture there is them, performing on their reunion!! I was so happy because I really thought that it's a big world tour including effin' Asia. Little did I know that the tour already ended at around February. I was so disappointed, coz' some of them says that it's their last performance. So I cried. They were love at first sight. :). So I continued to search on them, watched their videos, danced on their songs. My sister asked me why do I even like them, she said that she was still in High School when they were together. I feel so bad for not knowing them earlier. I was born in 1997... so... How i wish i was just born earlier. Hahahah! Anyways, I really thought they're never going to perform again so their performance in the Olympics, "was a big thing for me". I watched it like a hundred times now. - A reunion is a must. Yeah, it was a bummer that their last reunion tour stopped abruptly. Heard there were serious power struggle behind the stage that causes that, regarding commitment to their own family. What can we say, they're not single girls that free to do anything any more now. So we gotta respect their decisions for that. But worry not, Mel C recently just said that another reunion is not impossible! So who knows what may come in the future. Aside of the right timing, they might just need to lobby Victoria a bit more than the other girls do. She is very busy now with her new profession as up and coming fashion designer.
