I love love love some of her songs. I recently got into her. I'm 16 and I grew up with Michael Jackson and there was always kinda hate against Madonna. But I listened to 3 albums of her albums recently and I love it.

One of Madonna's first and more memorable television moments was at an MTV Video Music Awards around 1984 and she sang Like A Virgin in a wedding dress...went to the floor and rolled around in it.  In that day, that was highly provactive and many called her all show, no voice...some said she was a flash in the pan. Others said Cyndi Lauper would be the one with a future, Madonna will be a has been soon. 

Throughout her career, shes been excommunicated from the Catholic Church more times than I can remember, shes been deemed too old back when she was 40.

Madonna, since day one, has encountered enormous criticisms of her varied career, enormous ageism, sexism, you name it.

But, at the end of the day, at 60 years old she remains one of the few original pop legends we have left. And she has yet to stop. She didnt before and she isnt now. 

Love her or loathe her, one thing is guaranteed....well two....Madonna is still here to stay and all the hate about her will result in her sleeping just fine tonight. 😁

Just wanted to add that its kinda typical for us older people to like Madonna since we have those nostalgic memories, etc surrounding her career. I always find it especially interesting to hear younger people who werent "there" discussing her.  At the concerts, the crowd is always teens to 70ish year old people and that makes me happy. Some here will say the same when Gaga still has that in 20plus years.  And I KNOW she will.
