Spock 20,290
Madonna's iconic album was released on April 28 2008 in the US! Originally meant to be titled Black Madonna, Hard Candy went through a few visual overhauls but Madonna ultimately settled on the boxing and candy imagery juxtaposing toughness and sweetness (her sugar is raw) To be honest, this album is UNFAIRLY unnapreciated (why don't people drag MDNA I just.... ), gave us iconic bops and an iconic tour. It's crazy to think that a few months later Gaga released The Fame, and to me it's mind-blowing how different they sound having only been released four months apart. whew who will love me when the night is over

corvus albus 38,031
Doesn't Billboard consider Hard Candy the last great Madonna album? I'm pretty sure they tweeted this today.

Lol, I'm a fan of Madge but Hard Candy was literally Madonna fully jumping on the music trends for the fisrt time in her career
The Louvre 3,423
Her worst album, even MDNA is better in my opinion. I only use Dance 2Night, Miles Away and Give It 2 Me. Horrible Album art too. A steep fall in quality after COADF in my opinion. It's said the map of the world is on you. The moon gravitates around you. The seasons escape you. I get that it's exact moment her career turned (for better or worse, whatever), but MDNA is nowhere NEAR dragged as much as Hard Candy, when that album is just pure trash. At least Hard Candy has a soul, a personality, etc whether you like the music itself or not. MDNA is just terrible who will love me when the night is over
Phoebe Buffay 12,525
One of my fave albums from 2008. Candy Shop, 4 Minutes, Give It 2 Me, Heartbeat, Miles Away, Dance 2night, Beat Goes On, Devil Wouldn't Recognize You and Voices did THAT! But who told her to include Incredible and Spanish Lesson in the tracklist tho?
