I am pretty sure she had an original LG5 concept, she only started working on Joanne after she met Ronson.

The lead single was already chosen for LG5(Frankenstein) but she cancelled those plans to work with Mark instead.

A myth invented by fans who were disappointed in Joanne and just wanted another TFM. She spent three years winning the GP back and showing she was a talented musician, not just a provocative popstar who released dance songs. She was not going to mess everything after this, she wanted to make music that would appeal to a larger public. Everything was pointing towards a more authentic album : lots of tributes, C2C, jazz performances, rock performances, talking about emotional state and how she wanted to use music as a way to heal, Til it happens to you, working with Elton John, Diane Warren... And Angel Down wouldn't fit in an album full of dance-pop bops, even with RedOne producing it.

it was probably still stripped down stuff since Angel Down was one of the songs but Mark does a better job at that genre

Actually some of the songs were described as being bops by Redone so they were not all Angel Down esque. Angel Down was prob the one ballad they made together for the record (or maybe one of like two). It was prob the song he described as being "Grammy worthy" since it's a ballad and that's usually grammy bait. I'm still interested to hear what they made together tbh :'( I love Joanne but I'm real curious about those songs for some reason

i'm curious too but i really don't believe in what redone said since i remember the pre-ARTPOP hype as describing the album as pushing the envelope and boundary breaking  

i honestly think he was just really hyping up their work cus he was sure it was coming out

Why does everyone say that "Original LG5" does not exist - I don't think that they she had the Joanne concept in mind when working Nile Rogers and Giorgio Moroder

I do think there is a possibility that all those people worked on the original LG5, and maybe now she's making more bops to turn it into a spectacular futuristic ARTPOP's little sister of an album.

Concepts change over time lol, so do plans for albums. I said that in my post...also can you link me to where RedOne or Gaga said one of the songs they did was "Frankenstein"?   If a fan said it or an "insider" it won't be a good source for me. Did RedOne or Gaga say in their own words that Frankenstein was one of the songs they did?...

I still think it's funny how fans act as if all the songs they made were supposed "BoPs!!!1!!!" we don't know what else they did, who ever knows if they did more demos of the songs later on. I said in my post, she may had a concept or she may have not. Reading is fundamental, thank you

We never know what really happened so don't say like you know everything.
All we know is RedOne said that the songs were futuristic and classic Gaga combined. Some of the songs are Grammy-worthy. Elton John said he heard one song that had Bad Romance vibe. Frakensteined is real, RedOne confirmed it, and I believe it was supposed to be the lead single. Angel Down is believed to be one of those songs and was luckily made onto Joanne.  That's it !
