There are no words to describe how much I hate German hip hop. It's embarrassing and horrible in every way. But I'm glad that that awful award show is gone. No one will miss it anyway. Now can the Scammys be next?

If you carefully read the article, you'll find out that the Echo will not be abolished, instead it will be replaced with a new award that will simply have a new name!

 

There will be a new German Awards show, just under a new name because the name Echo is now negatively labelled. It shows that reputation is everything in modern times.
