Nah. It was nothing dramatic. I was in a brainstorming meeting when a journalist was writing a book about makeup and style trends. I'm not good with makeup, but I know what looks good on people and what doesn't. And I have lots of ideas for new products.

Every brand needs a star product. Things I'd want for Gaga's brand:

A range of pressed finishing powders (as opposed to setting powders) that blur out imperpections and gives you that lit from wothin-look. NARS and Hourglass have similar ones.

A lightweight foundation with matching medium coverage concealer (maybe called Synchro Canvas?).

An alternative to bronzer for porcelaine skin (Complexion Warmer?).

A light cover powder foundation that isn't flat matte. Same technology could be used for blushers and eye shadow (Omnipowder).

A line of makeup brushes produced in Japan, because they make the best.

Etc, etc, blabla...

oh I thought that someone from her team contacted you  mess @ me :smh:
sounds cool tho!

Fenty did a big mistake. While the shade collection in her foundation is excellent, the formula is terribly dry and cakey, and only works for the oiliest skin-types. Estee Lauder Double Wear is difficult to use too, but much better.

Australian line Becca has a myriad of shades to choose from in different formulas.

I think we'll see more products inspired by Instagram. People want to look airbrushed while looking like they're bare faced. And I see far too many girls with shimmery, highlighted upper cheekbones. A good look when you pout in a selfie, not so in broad daylight. Missplaced blusher in the wrong shade is also a pet peeve of mine. Is it so hard to take a look in the mirror in natural lighting and see what it looks like?

Start slow, not too close to the nose, blend out and up towards the temples and also slighly downwards. And nobody blush frost.

And no: "great foundation" is not a compliment!

I wouldn't mind some cool Gaga made stuff  I love her sequin face jewels or whatever they're called. I would wear those all day and look like a fabulous Spiderman hehe

Schwerk

God I hope not. I would prefer her to focus on music, movies and art, not on selling random products.  Especially after Madonna released her skincare line I can imagine Gaga getting tons of **** if she does the same. Not to mention the beauty industry is very harsh and you have to be super careful all the ingredients are ethically sourced and preferably vegan for it to be respected.

Also, to me she is a stunning natural beauty, but let's face it, most people love her 'crazy' looks and don't consider Gaga a true beauty. So unless it is a make-up colab or something I'm not here for it at all.

I don't get why celebrities or their team always feel they need more money when they earn plenty doing what they truly love. That tudor watch campaign for example, the commercial was nice with the be brave message, but it still seems in genuine to me since Gaga barely ever wears a watch.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

As someone who would have no use of such a thing, I'd personally be annoyed by this, but go off. At heart The Fame perfume was unisex, altho I never got that either

Rihanna was massively praised for it and I don't see anyone here saying she's a "superficial and shallow" popstar :poot:
But I agree that Gaga's (if true) needs to have something really different that would hook people in. Fenty has 40something shades of foundation and all the basics a 2018 makeup line should have. Knowing Gaga, it would probably be in the packaging, and in the "proceeds will go to BTWF"

THAT IS BECAUSE RIHANNA NEVER SAID SHE DIDN'T WANT TO DO THOSE THINGS. Gaga literally said she hate selling perfumes and taking selfies because she has more to offer than her IMAGE. If gaga does this makeup line, it proves she's a hypocrite or she lied during that interview when she was taking to those yale students.

Her opinions change through time though. She's always growing and evolving, she may not have enjoyed what she did at that time; but who are we to say "you can't do that because you said this one thing one time"? I think we should let Gaga do her thing and if it works it works.
