Bowie 4 Posted August 17, 2012 Share Posted August 17, 2012 LA PRIMADONNA D'HOLLYWOOD: SKETCH SUBMISSION This outfit reflects both the dark side of fame & the lies that cover it up - the dark purple, blacks and reds representing the dark side of fame, and the lighter pinks, whites, golds and platinum blonde hair representing the lie that covers up the dark secrets of Hollywood & the riches that tear the pop icon apart. The white/gold cloak itself represents how a perfect, idealised persona (the white, clean & innocent cloak) can cover up a person's dirty secrets (whether they are real or not), and this cloak can be taken off by society whenever they please. The Primadonna of Hollywood - the one who always wants attention, and the attention she craves will destroy her eventually - the rose entangled in the thorns of society. By Ryan Montgomery.
