First of all, may he rest in peace.

But can I share something extreeeeeeeeeeeeemely weird? I swear it is 100% true.

So I was having a shower two hours ago and had an impulse to listen to Muse that I haven't heard for some time.

And their interlude to their song Psycho came up that samples that famous scene from Full Metal Jacket.

And I thought to myself "I wonder if the actor who played the sergeant is still alive?" . . .

Welp, after some time, I check twitter and I see that in twitter moments...

Similar thing happened to me once with the movie "Do The Right Thing" (this contains spoilers)

Spoiler

The movie came on TV once and I watched it, and in the climax a character named Radio Raheem gets killed by the police. After the movie was done I was reading the Wikipedia article for it, and found out that the actor who played Radio Raheem -- Bill Nunn -- died on the day I watched it. :O

OT: RIP :(

Retron

It's said that the only two people Stanley Kubrick ever allowed to improvise on his set were Peter Sellers and R. Lee Ermey. RIP, Gunny.
