Gaga and Beyoncé - a comparison

Beyonce just wants to put on a good show, that's all. The thing is that everything Gaga and Bey are doing is not comparable. Beyonce could literally just sit on a chair and do nothing and people and the internet would still go crazy and act like she's the next Jesus, she did THAT, she wrote history and she's the best performer ever.

Also, am I the only one who thinks that Bey's live performances are beginning to just look the same and be repetitive?

Bey could canonically sing and dance better, but I don’t like her song and I don’t feel like following her.

Gaga is so different, her music reflects what my soul was looking for, and her persona is amazing. It’s something hard to explain. I just feel her as the queen of everything ahhh.

Imagine a Gaga x Beyoncé joint tour. :diane:

OT: I do agree that Beyoncé more robotic and Gaga’s more emotional driven. They both are perfectionist based off their SBHTS.

That summarizes it well.

I wouldn't want an album together though. I feel LG would gain more from another musician as oppose to someone like Bey or Rih. I would rather LG sit down with another artist and write an album together rather than record what Diplo sent to them if that makes sense.

As for performance, I think they should perform like a tribute together, but not choreography. Bey would outshine her there no question. I'd rather LG on piano and Bey on a stool, both singing a tribute to a legend. I think both would shine and also compliment each other.

I just had a conversation that made so much sense.

Beyonce is a pageant girl. Gaga is a music student.

If I told you Beyonce was in a cult as a child and Gaga toured with the stones as a kid... it wouldn't be an obvious lie.

Where did you get that artwork from? It's insanely good.

And yeah I would love a collaboration between them, it would cater to two different audiences and would be successful in my opinion.

not sure if someone answered that already, but his IG is on the images.

I'd love for them to collab again, ignore the monsters who can't stand the success of Bey and think about it. They collabed back when they were both still on the road to their legendary status. So much has changed between the both of them that a collab now would kill. Gaga's grit and Beyonce's precision mixed together would make for a great song/performance.

Sidenote- those art pieces are beyond amazing.

I think they are both top of the class, as performers, for their generation of pop musicians. Hell, I'd even say of any pop musicians period, at the moment.

That said, I very much agree that they are top tier in very different ways. Bey is the golden standard, while Gaga is the rulebreaker.

I agree 100%. They're both the best performers of our generation, but in different ways. I always loved that Gaga is more "free" in her performances (which is why, even on tour, her performances always feel different), and that's why I love her more. But Beyonce is definitely at the same level, (higher when we are talking JUST performing imo). Both immensely talented. I want both fandoms to live in harmony

I like your thoughts because they truly are similar but also very very different. Perhaps Gaga resonates with me more as a performer because I love classic rock, rock, alternative, and indie music. So I identify with Gaga’s emotional and spontaneous approach to performing. I’ve never been one that is into the “perfect” show’s. So maybe that is why Beyoncé falls short for me on an emotional level.

Both are incredible though and I wouldnt mind a performance with both of them. An album, not so much though.  :firega:
