Does Gaga listen to today's pop music?

Two things: Her love for Selena Gomez has existed well before the 2016 AMA’s. You can look up several tweets/comments she’s made about her and her music. Second, my post is in humor. Of course she is going to cite Bowie as a musical/artistic inspiration, but that doesn’t mean she can’t be a fan of other genres and mainstream pop artists. As much as she listened to classic rock with her dad growing up, she also listened to a lot of pop music, even going as far to say that Britney Spears and she were “separated at birth” in her yearbook. 

And not necessarily directed to you, but I’m kind of over the false-pretentious notion that some fans push of her as being this omnipotent entity that only listens to certain types of music and only talks to certain types of people, etc. It’s ridiculous. Her liking various genres of music and knowing mainstream pop music doesn’t and should fake away from who she is as an artist or her integrity or credibility. It’s literally just music.

well the first songs in this video are relatively new and i dont think she was forced to listen to it

Ik they shared love before, but the AMA is the very first moment everyone knew they had true love. Also, I never said Gaga couldn't listen to other artists....I just said its pretty obvious she stands Bowie more than Selena Gomez...
