Eros92 2,513 Posted April 10, 2018 Share Posted April 10, 2018 So recently i've been catching up on my comic reading (and I've been VERY behind) and I recently started the Black Canary mini series (spun off from Batgirl) and I just loved how kick as BC is. I mean I've always know of her and found her to be awesome every since the original Birds of Prey comics. But I like this new version, she's like the front woman for a rock band and also fights crime. And I like can totally picture Gaga doing a live action role. Like super grungy, film noir style kinda like in Sin City. I mean I'd love to see her play something big like a super hero. How bout you guys? With her current physique condition, she cannot do those demanding stuffs that action and superhero actors does. Especially Black Canary is very agile and physical. Gaga would tear lbr. OTOH, neither the film producing team may want to deal with that, since it is uncertain. It can attack anytime. And they cannot have too many delay, since movie filming schedule are very tight. Actors needed to stand by hours before filming even if their turn is not before after midnight for example, so if her muscles in pain suddenly, it will ruin everything, and probably pissed some people off, since there are so much high pressure on set. She is proficient in jiu jitsu, and boxing, and judo. She always does judo throws as one of her signature move. And as with every other actors who's taking role in superheroes movies, they will get into camp where they are ordered to do a heavy exercise and master some fighting skills in short amount of time, so they can still do some close up action scenes on their own, and if you think Gaga's current body can handle this kind of regime, well... For reference, Angelina Jolie said this about her training for Tomb Raider, "I had to train for over two months before filming, and then all the way through we were training. But I learned all these different skills, they put up a boxing bag and a bunch of power bars in my living room for like eight months. There was also bungee ballet, diving, and weapons training and kick boxing, and everything from yoga to soccer and rowing. Not sure if Gaga wanna have another serious injury again, she suffered enough. Scenes are done in MULTIPLE takes and may take hours...over weeks and MONTHS...can her body handle that??? She cant even dance on a stage for 2 hours... Like...
