I gotta say I sometimes wonder the same thing... It is a really enjoyable album to listen to, but I don't think any of its songs has really passed the test of time. Like, ask any stranger in the street about their favorite Britney songs, and I'm not sure anyone will really pick or remember anything at all from that record.

Actually, Gimme More is my old earth science teachers favorite Britney song. He told he (back in 2016) that he was disappointed that it wasn't in her BMA 2016 medley and that its his fav.

Blackout is a timeless bop and it really changed the sound of pop music in the time, almost every song sounds so fresh and it's really good seeing all the **** that she been through the recording sessions

Because it is different than Britney's previous music and was something no one expected, but at the same time it screamed Britney. Also the 2007 era is legendary and notorious for her breakdown, it's impressive how she pulled out a better album than most of her peers while being public enemy #1 at the same time.

I think people also realy liked how she just went ot there, released Blackout and said "fuc* you" to everyone, and gave 0 ****s about the media and people's oppinion at the time.

Spoiler

ITZ>Blackout though  :trollga:

The Bling

Because no matter how many times I listen to it, it always sounds so freaking fresh and it will never ever bore me

Honestly, this album alone turned me into a fan, a hardcore fan and a stan, all by itself

And that being said, time to relisten for the 1000th time :hor:

Sigmund Freud, analyze this
