LOL a huge part of ARTPOP's performance was she was too weird, too over the top, and too out there. And you guys think by switching Applause with stuff like "Aura" or "Venus" would solve that? She needed safe GP friendly song for the first single. DWUW, Gypsy, Applause are those.

The only thing that really, really bothers me is that Aura wasn't a single.

Its the hit that got away, and that without a generic bone under her hood.
