Marina Abramović’s work is famous for its shock-factor. Abramović will be the first ever woman to take over the main galleries of the Royal Academy of Arts since it was founded 250 years ago. To make people question about it. And you may never get the straight answers. Cos that is also the point of art. It is different answers and meaning for everyone. Just like the one quote that Marilyn Manson once said, when he was mentoring in a class in university, that I hold dear in my heart; "Art to me is a question mark. I don't think it should ever have an answer. When people ask you what you're painting means. What your essays means. The piece of art itself is the answer, that is your response (as the artist). If you're an artist your goal is to affect people. Whether that is in positive or negative way. I think ultimately that is the role of artists in society." Doing stupid stuff doesn’t mean you have inferior qualities, and won’t reproduce anymore. This has nothing to do with her genetics which is what natural selection is entirely based off.
