Ryan Murphy wants to produce a Gaga & Streisand variety show on Netflix

“Though the Netflix deal doesn't formally begin until July, Murphy's restless mind already is in overdrive. Over a late winter lunch at the Mercer Hotel in Manhattan, where the married father of two has been directing his FX transgender drama, Pose, he tests out a few ideas. "What if I do some cool thing," he says, "like a variety special with Barbra Streisand and Lady Gaga?" It's easily the sexiest of his hypothetical concepts and also one that few besides Murphy could feasibly pull off.”
