Antonio 27,769
[#1] Paparazzi [Score] 9.722 [Highs] @Creyk @Oriane @Bear @PerfectGUY @Sizzily @huttont @holy scheisse @Irrelevant @sethrb101 @blackstar @Gypsygaga1 @DramaMonster @Gardevoir @Fad @lavendermusic @PerfectCure @CyanDante [11] [Lows] @GaGaSwift [6] [ Antonio's Remark ] [10] It's my favorite on The Fame along with Paper Gangsta, just incredible, every second of this song is priceless. I mean, the 11s speak for themselves, this is definitely GGD's favorite song, has been and still is, so give a round of applause to our talented #1 [ Commentary ] Hide contents @Oriane [11] The song that made me a fan. I only knew two songs by Gaga at this time and I kept hearing people talking about that song "Paparazzi". So I decided to give it a listen and my life was changed after this. The chorus is so hauntingly beautiful. And don't get me started on the acoustic version. Looking back at it now, I realize it could have been better, it's a shame they used all that autotune there... But it has a special place in my heart. @Bear [11] My favourite from the album. Everything about it is perfect. @Gypsygaga1 [11] Hands down, the best song on the album.Lyrics on point, production on point, vocals on point-just heavenly. @Gardevoir [11] Has one of her best lyrics and structure, oh and one of her best performances. @PerfectCure [11] My first Lady Gaga song I’ve listened to ever! I think it remains one of my most loved songs from her today still. It’s a mysterious but at the same time amazing track, and the story this song tells is incredible. Definitely the best song off this album. @jensentyy [10] My all time favourite Gaga song. Had it been a rate on the live performances, this song is an 11 for me (especially the more recent acoustic one). However, since its an album rate, I think the studio version lacks slightly behind Poker Face. Its gonna take the crown anyway so slay away I guess. @maxblac [10] An amazing track in all versions. @Beytwice [10] Paparazzi is a masterpiece, imo. @HausOfAmericano [10] Another iconic pop song that changed pop music forever, Gaga did THAT @The Louvre [9] "Baby you'll be famous, chase you down until you love me" is one of her best lyrics. @Gagnetti [9] This one was meant to be the last single as it's a perfect transition to "The Fame Monster". Lyrically genius, and melody's so haunting, yet so amazing! Very good songwriting with lots of references and hints about the down side of fame. Gaga was fully inspired while making the song, so was Rob Fusari, we cannot deny that. One of her very best from this record, again, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! @Rumours1977 [8.75] The strongest track thus far on the album. I find the lyricism to be superior to both Just Dance and LoveGame. @The Bling [8] The chorus is so smooth, her voice is so heavenly If only the album version was as fierce as the VMAs 2009 live @That J [7] The video and MTV award show slayage helped transform a rather middle of the road song like Paparazzi into classic territory. Without all the images, you are left with an ironic take on love and the Hollywood scene. It's wit cant be denied. LAST TIME: #
Antonio 27,769
[#2] Just Dance [Score] 9.304 [Highs] @GoldenPonyboy @The Louvre @Queen1551 @ChrisGaga @TheShameMonster @slayo @HIMER0S @RIPheygirl [11] [Lows] @PerfectGUY @Doot [6] [ Antonio's Remark ] [10] One of my favorites on this album, it has aged SO well. The "true, a red one" is the most iconic intro ever beside "muh muh muh muh", and overall this song was the perfect choice for the lead single and album opener, it sets the mood, and it's just I-C-O-N-I-C. [ Commentary ] Hide contents @GoldenPonyboy [11] "Just dance, it's gonna be OK'' are still my favorite lyrics by her. So simple yet so meaningful to me. @The Louvre [11] After 10 years it still goes OFF. Talent never gets old. @Gypsygaga1 [10] Iconic party bop, still sounds fresh. @Gagnetti [10] "Just Dance! Gonna be OK! D-d-d-dance, dance, dance, j-j-j-just dance!" Soooo ****ing catchy! It gets stuck in your head instantly! The trio's good: Gaga, Akon and Colby, not as much as "Starstruck" members, but still. Perfect 1st single 'cause of its catchiness and how you keep on dancin' to it 'til tomorrow! Awesome track! "Incredible, amazing music!" @maxblac [10] Incredibly fun track. It sounds fresh even today. Could do without Colby's verse, though. @Beytwice [10] Gaga emerged with this one, there's nothing else needed to be said. @HausOfAmericano [10] An iconic pop song that changed the scene forever as soon as the words "RedOne" came out of Gaga's mouth. @Bear [10] It really never grows old and I dare anyone not to sing along I still remember the first time I heard it on the radio with friends and them making me pay attention to it. I wonder how different things would have been if we were listening to a different station @Gagz [10] I was so shook the first time I heard this. There was nothing like it on American radio at the time. @jensentyy [9.4] I've completely forgotten how iconic this song is. The song that changed the pop landscape. @The Bling [9]I.CO.NIC.mp3 THE BRIDGE BIIIIITCH. The feature is a bit cringy though @Gardevoir [9] A classic, also her first hit the opening synth is infectious. I probably would’ve given it a 10 if Colby O’Donis part was cut since I think it drags on a bit. @Impostor [9] A beautiful, well-crafted party anthem that still reminds us of the late 2000s, Just Dance was a brilliant career starter. @PerfectCure [8.5] Not trying to sound biased but... I think this is the best debut single I have ever heard! It was released at a perfect time (2008, when the crisis was on and you couldn’t do anything else but enjoy yourself and dance) and the beat, lyrics and emotion overall are really cute! I love this song. @Rumours1977 [7.75] It’s a fun, catchy song. It would have gotten at least an 8, but the lyrical content isn’t exactly revolutionary. Moreover, I could have done without the feature on the track, as I don’t feel like he really adds anything special or substantial. @That J [7.5] While I could go 4 tours without this song, there's no denying its a classic. This is where it all really began and the verses are fun, the chorus slick and it was a hit for a reason. This was never a favorite of mine but it's impossible to not tap a toe when it plays. @Oriane [7] One of my favorite tracks, it's an iconic opener and the song has this nostalgic vibe, not only because it's her first song, but because I feel some actual sadness into it. That's what makes it a good song for me, it's not any song about partying and dancing, there's a subtle dark vibe. LAST TIME: #
