Cavadour 2,227
Damn. Why does her voice acts like a squeeze on my inner emotional sponge ? Must be love... As for the accent. Thats her. I kinda like it. Like her beauty spots, rabbit teeth and hooked nose... Also, my mother tongue is french : makes it easier to avoid nitpicking about english accents. They mostly sound like music to me. Late to the party but I got a diamond heart
Aga Gydal 3,158
I love when the good sis goes full theater vocal on a cover. This is magical to me.

I think she used it too much on the Joanne album for example. I think it's fine for the second half of this song, but would have preferred a softer approach in the beginning. Yes, the original song is more laid back. She kind of added that dramatic touch to the cover. I share your opinion on Joanne. That kind of singing was very good in some parts but in others it was just too much (Come To Mama). I have been trying to find the singer it reminds me of, (the sound of her voice when she's overdoing the dramatic thing), I have a feeling I know exactly who the singer is, it's on the tip of my tongue all the time. But yeah, usually, I can listen to the good parts of Joanne, but I tend to skip the other parts Lazlo
metalguru 1,496
She should stop being this dramatic with her voice otherwise she is going to be her own parody of her amazing vocals. Hush hush baby Gaga and whisper to our ears.

That accent she put on is very pleasing and she made an amazing rendition with a different style (her style). 1 hour ago, Supersonic said: Bio back at it again with the bad taste 1 hour ago, ryanripley said: i don't agree with you on a lot of things but this is by far one of the best comments i've seen on ggd Kids, I think you care too much about what I have to say on a message board. My advice to you is, if you like the song, enjoy it. Or maybe you didn’t like it that much and are using me to keep those thoughts away?

djBuffoon 12,075
The technique is flawless, great arrangement, and parts of it are stunningly beautiful, but I'm not getting the warmth or emotion from her that I was hoping for. When she sings "How wonderful life is, now you're in the world", for example, it comes off a little dry. I also wish she built the intensity over the course of the song, rather than start out full voice and remain there.

boneknuckleskin 776
Not her snatching me back just when I had given up on her Vocalist queen. This is the Gaga I want and need in Vegas
LastNight 5,933
So beautiful, especially from 2.15ish onwards - that second half is just magic. Gaga is one of very few artists who really moves me with their vocals, and this just takes me to another place. I am not ready for ASIB, I feel like she's going to just devastate us all with beautiful vocals and emotion with those songs.
Quartz 12,287
The Dope vocals actually works for this song. I like it Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊
Inferno 2,880
I don't like when she does her Dope vocals, ever. Its just not a style I want to listen to. So I kind of hope she ditches it for LG6 but I doubt it.
