We knew the pressure for her is there 100% of the time and that it's always immense, but it seems she's well aware of the sometimes even more enormous pressure monsters put on her. Not that I'm surprised she is though, there's no way she could not have known... it's just depressing. :cry: monsters are being too hard on her sometimes she put so much afford into her work, and must had pressure from public, and sometimes we gave her more on top of that so we must know, she's just a normal human being, trying to make us all happy, but unfortunately she can't make everyone happy I hope she just do what she feels right and makes her happy, like she said, be yourself, in this case, be herself Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think it's actually a really interesting way to respond to the BTW criticism. She's calling everyone's bluff. I see it as a bit of a 'so you want me to be a product of the masses, a predictable and controllable force that only succumbs to what you want me to be? Well, you better enjoy it and you better love me for it. Oh you want me to take back control? Cool, then kindly stfu and let me do my job then.' There's definitely a difference between fans talking hypotheticals/a--lysing her career moves maturely, and fans treating her like an idiot because she didn't follow what they wanted her to do. But, I'm not sure she means this as either a concession or a "calling your bluff" thing. I think when she said "I often feel like the public wants me to be something that I'm not," it wasn't necessarily a complaint, but just a sort of jumping-off point for an experiment.
