Just 10 years after Filth And Wisdom (which wasn’t so good) and seven years after W.E. (which also wasn’t so good), Madonna has signed on to direct a movie for MGM called Taking Flight. The Deadline story says it’s based on the true story of Michaela DePrince, a woman who “grew up an orphan in war-torn Sierra Leone but rose to become a world-renowned ballerina,” and Camilla Blackett—a writer for New Girl and Fresh Off The Boat—will adapt it from DePrince’s 2014 memoir of the same name. https://www.avclub.com/madonna-is-going-to-direct-another-movie-1823786784 Stream Kylie-Janet Discographies!
