from gaga's list:

When addressing media rumors that she’s trans*, she said, “I really am a lady! I’m not quite as outrageous as I look - underneath all this I am deeply moral and actually a really nice girl”. She insinuated that trans* women are not really women, and that they can’t be moral or nice people.

she's not insinuating that at all oh my lord :rip: she's speaking for HERSELF, not trans people :deadbanana:

and I googled the quote and it continues with "I look so wild--but I'm not. In the bedroom I like to wear pearls around my neck" like I get she doesn't exactly address the trans aspect of the question but how does one get transphobia from that :selena:

And what are those points ?

Wheelchair is a pretty common object that you'll find in any hospital. If you're too tired after an operation they'll propose you a wheelchair, you don't need a life-long disabilities to use a wheelchair.

This association hints at the shocking value yet it has nothing shocking. She just used the wheelchair to fit the medical background theme and the emphasize of the performance is put on the mermaid tail, not the use of a wheelchair in itself  They just tried to come for Gaga for the most ridiculous thing.

But some other things on the list are indeed problematic :)

Funny how people were praising him for what he said few weeks ago about LG. Oh he made a good point etc. But who cares about all the other bad stuff he said...

No need to get personal. He's as welcome on this site as you are. And if you can't accept someone's else point of view maybe you're the one who should take a little vacation ;)

oh yeah I'm defending gaga on GAGAdaily clearly i need to gtfo It's a valid question to ask why someone is here who doesn't even like gaga. Also I see no personal attacks anywhere but again put all the words in my mouth.

I was talking about this part in particular:

"Since this isn’t the first time she has used a wheelchair in her performances, I invite her to learn more about the 5.6 million Americans who live with paralysis,” Founder of the Life Rolls On Foundation, Jesse Billauer.

The point being that disabilities shouldn't be glorified or used for entertainment purposes. It's like somebody would use fibromyalgia for entertainment.

The only other time she used it was for paparazzi and it was perfectly justified

As I said, a wheelchair isn't specific to paralysis and that's why I don't understand why this association is calling her out. Especially that she wasn't adressing paralysis ar all in both performances

From now on I might just possibly do what most do to Azealia and say that I'm a fan of Gambino's music but not him as a person

“I can’t listen to Gypsy because it’s a slur.” :toofunny:

How do people even leave their homes getting so offended by literally every single thing. I swear it seems like 90% of you Google things simply to find some obscure page on the internet that doesn’t like something and uses that as an excuse to push your ridiculous social justice points of views.

Go out. Smell the flowers. Bask in the sun. Take a trip maybe. Ask your parents if you can go to the mall.

She has massacred people in her music videos and you are concerned with her being in a wheelchair for a performance?

She also performed bald once. Should we raise our social justice flags for all the people in the world who can’t grow hair? :smh:
