If they really cared about this issue then they would criticize the more serious issue, which is the homophobic attitude of the film industry. The Oscars are just a side effect of that. We need to hire them more for movies before there's any reasonable chance for nominations. And I think nominating someone just because they're LGBT is stupid. Just as stupid as not nominating or having them win because they are LGBT. P.S. I'm not that bothered by Armie and Timothee not being LGBT in CMBYN, because I think they did incredibly well and I can't imagine others having the roles.
