Or? They'll probably stay on FX, the network probably owns them. Any new Murphy shows will be property of Netflix. Basing this on what's happening with Netflix and Disney and their Marvel shows. Daredevil, Jessica Jones etc aren't leaving Netflix when Disney launches their new streaming service because Netflix holds the rights to those shows. If they continue on without him and get someone good to replace him, that would be awesome, as I've always felt the show has never reached its full potential. ACS would do fine without him since all he did was produce for that one. Pose is an unknown entity, though judging from the premise, sounds like it'd be best as a limited series. I feel bad for the cast & crew of that one since he's essentially pulling a Bryan Fuller and leaving it behind before it's even aired, but we all know his track record anyway, so eh. 10 minutes ago, Matangi said: ryan murphy isnt worth that lol Yeah, I'm not sure he is either, and I'm not even a hater. For example, who is even asking for a series involving Nurse Ratched? Maybe they're hoping he'll come up with a idea and hit paydirt for them like a repeat of Glee or whatever (buzz worthy series spawning merchandise etc), but his series burn so quickly... We all know that a very very (incredibly) large percentage of people saw Gaga as a joke but did that make her any less of an artist? You said Ryan isn't worth 300m. Some say Gaga isn't worth the 100m they paid her for the Vegas deal. Does that mean she's not an artist because some say she isn't worth that kind of money? You have your personal taste and preference and that's 100% okay. But discrediting the work of someone because you don't like it is not 100% okay. The comment about money not equating artistry wasn't even regarding murphy, it was that in general citing money as a basis for talent isnt a good idea. As I stated above, i think murphy has brilliant ideas and ive watched many of his shows multiple times, but it's fair to say a huge portion of his audience recognizes that he invests less time and energy in his projects as they age. good artist? yes. worth a 300 mil deal? not in my opinion.
