The numbers speak for themselves, and the facts are as follows -- Gaga had the second best ratings for her Superbowl show (best ratings if you include the internet viewers) and the least successful tour numbers for a Superbowl act. I must also add that the other artists had big hype leading up to their album and show. Gaga, on the other hand, didn't heavily promote Joanne at all, not even the lead single. And she didn't have that aura of "untouchable goddess" that Beyonce's PR manufactures. And she still has a fanbase that's considered very niche and is a crowd of oddballs, i.e. not something that the average person wants to be a part of. Once again, the venues she chose are a big deal because arenas are always cheaper than stadiums. And she didn't demand crazy prices either. Basically, Gaga's tour was a lot more...humble, shall we say. It was a lot more real than the extravaganzas that the others put on and that will always have lesser demand. Beats me why people want an artist who is pretty disconnected from their audience, but that seems to be what the public want.

It was also the shortest tour. I'm sure average gross is up there with the other Superbowl acts.

That coupled with her own illness makes her success possibilities minimal. Sorry, but it must hurt when some other girls who were supposed to be ''talentless'' are still able to tour globally and gross 100M whereas ''super talented'' Gaga is forced to resort to Vegas. Well Gaga chose to sign the Vegas deal and you're not her manager. Only butthurt people like you will try to bring an artist down when clearly only her illness prevents her from grossing 100m. If she had a normal health, she could've easily outgrossed her peers. 49 dates for 95 m? You could never.

Theres quite a few reasons, the first - cancelling the same tour, lack of promo, and no huge hits from the album (sadly.) The lack of the old trick when they open up the closed off areas at the time saying 'more tix released' didnt happen. All of that adds up, instead they reduced ticket prices. (Which might've been good for some who wouldntve been able to afford to see her! we cant forget that ). Alas the rest were cancelled anyway. Such a shame but cant be helped. At least people had a great time and it was recorded. Another tour bites the dust but lets be happy for the fans that loved it.
