Overall I love Lemonade way more.

But Haunted and Blow, plus the singles of self-titled, all still get me through the day :lolly:

9 songs out of 12

Self Titled was great but I prefer Lemonade, as a full body of work it truly is a masterpiece.

I don't know, I never really got the hype around BEYONCÉ. When it came out, everyone was going nuts over it and I was over here like :interestinga:

Then when Lemonade came out I thought it was her best album (still do, it aged incredibly) and yet there were people saying it wasn't as good as self-titled or that it was overrated and I was like :saladga:

You should add a poll

No it doesn't For example: being a drag queen is a political act. In a world where masculinity is toxic there are men who dare to dress up as women and mock people's precious identity. A drag queen doesn't need to say "**** Trump" to be political. Just her being what she is and doing what she does is already a political act.

The same with Lemonade. Beyoncé is empowering black women while there's still racism and sexism in America. If that's not a political act I don't know what is.

What even, I talked about music first of all, but even then, drag queens talk about LGBTQIA+ rights all the time, that's why their act is also considered political.

How can you compare Bey talking about her relationship issues  with a man/woman going against all society's outdated rules. It's not the same thing.

I'm not saying Lemonade doesn't have political moments. But all in all it's not more political than an album like Rainbow or Joanne, but nobody is calling them that.

It's all marketing dahling...

I don't think you understand the concept of being political or what a political act is :oprah:. Good day to you nonetheless.
