You are forgetting this forum is filled with preteens who love drama and have nothing better to do with their lives.

Bitch wtf I get shocked comments when I reveal my age to people bc most people here are teens in their sixteens/seventeens, young adults and adults. Resorting to petty comments about age isn't going to make Justin's performance less mediocre.

Resorting to petty comments about age should be a slap on the cheek of the young people who meme post all day on this website with absolutely nothing constructive to add and some even go to the length of using insults disguised as euphemisms.

This forum is becoming more and more an echo chamber where critical thinking, proper research and any decency left slowly fade away.

Your answer only answers 15% to my comment then you go on to your ranting.

Damn, the media have really got it in for him. It's like a competition to see who can provide the most shady comments. The people are also agreeing with the articles, calling it the worst SB show of all time and asking for Beyonce, Bruno and Gaga to come back. I think everyone's in this moment realised how out of his depth he was. Guaranteed he'll never get another chance on the SB stage again, even as a guest star, even if there's a 60th anniversary special in the future. I didn't expect Time to be quite this brutal, however. That "all the show told us is that Justin really loves his back catalog" was savage. It just shows you how bad it was that no publication's holding back.

The point is that JT NEVER does that. And his entire career has been an attempt at being "The Prince of Pop" by way of emulating Mj, Prince, and other mostly black acts. Not only has he dodged giving them credit, but he's accepted the praise for his "originality", the money, the awards. And even furthermore....embarrassed a woman of color in front of the world and never made ammends. Why? Oh...because he's JT....it was just an accident. People should understand that. Right?

But that's unfair in a world where Justin Timberlake doesn't even have to think about the fact that, if he were a black kid and had done that to say...Britney....the world would have hated him. There would have been no "oh it was just an accident". The fact that he is ignorant to that despite the fact that the community he has betrayed has practically been the foundation for him to have a career while simultaneously playing the innocent "all american white kid/guy next door" is him double dipping in the cultural money pot. And he STILL CHOOSES to IGNORE IT so CASUALLY.

While I agree with your general sentiments, I don't think Justin did this out of unkindness or a disregard for black artists. I think he just wanted to emulate them and didn't realise that he was sidelining their achievements and taking them for himself. And he did apologise for the Janet incident and even said that he thought the media is always harder on people of colour. Sure, that's about as far as he went, but he did try and did acknowledge that Janet's race may have been to her detriment.

I doubt he wanted to play the all American white kid, just a good, wholesome guy. The reason why he "ignores it" is because it's not what he's trying to do. White people aren't as focused on their racial identity like black people are. After all, isn't the claim that we don't have to think about our race (which I don't think is true, but isn't this a contradiction)? Trust me, unless you're a KKK member, no white person sees themselves as naturally innocent and good for being white. That's just an exaggeration put on us that's completely untrue and I think it's highly unfair. I mean, why is it that white people are constantly told how we supposedly think by non-whites? Yet when it's the other way round, people lose their minds?

So acting civilized and not throwing tantrums or insulting other people / celebrities is being fbi? Are you that delusional?

The other half of your post is completely irrelevant.

Make me.

On the other hand, you prove my point exactly. Having an extremely negative attitude towards someone who doesn't share your world view is really petty. How old are you? 12 at most?

"so acting civilized and not throwing tantrum or insulting other people/celebrities" that's not what I was answering. I was answering the whole "critical thinking, proper research and any decency left" comment. And calling me delusional isn't gonna prove your point.

You're acting like you're not having a "negative attitude towards someone who doesn't share your world view". Maybe you should pratice what you preach.

And I'm 14, turning 15 this year. Do you actually think there's 12-year olds/younger on this site? Don't you think you should be smarter than guessing the age demographic of most people here? Most people here are finishing high school/in college/have a job, yet you'll find them critizing JT. It's not an age thing, it's a forum thing.

The only thing I've actually directly talked about is your comments btw, never directly talked about JT. The people talking about him are those people I mentioned above. Funny.

Monsters can remain pressed. Gaga's SB performance was overrated and overshadowed by Katy's which drew more viewers (a record.breaking show no one will surpass :giggle:)

Justin SLAYED his Superbowl performance with TWO top 10 singles (Say Something is shaping up to be a sales/streaming/radio hit, something Million Reasons failed to achieve) and his album is predicted to open with around 300k SPS. Will Gaga be able to pull that off in future?

His tour will absolutely be massive and will most certainly outgross every single Gaga tour since 2012. All FIFTEEN years into his career, what will Gaga's career look like after 15 years? :toofunny: It's funny to Witness how even ''talentless'' Katy Perry has been grossing  100M+ from touring since 2014 whereas your ''super talented'' fave cannot do that anymore and never will. Stay in your lane and eat a humble pie.

1.NFL officially claimed that the show had a total multi-platform audience of 150 million, based on the television audience, as well as unique viewership of the show on its digital mediaand social media platforms (including NFL.com, and its Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages, the last of which having received 28 million views at that point)”

2. MR pure sales: 1.1M, and SPS: 1.9M

2. Man of the woods opening sales: less than 300k http://m.hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=310457

3. Katy’s average gross per show: $669k :toofunny: Gaga’s average: $2.4M
