See now that^

THAT is personal hate.

A- How do you know I went to public school?

B- What is wrong with kids that go to public school?

C- Some of the smartest people in the world went to public school!

D- Bringing up the fact that someone went to public school or shading them for it still does not change the fact that you have no point. :trollga:

I'm honestly beginning to question whether or not sale numbers are even real anymore. That's unbelievable. I have not heard one, not one person say they like his new music.

Nevertheless...

They say that those numbers were before factoring in the HalfTime Show Effect

An anecdotal response - even though you would, not many others would.

🤷🏻‍♂️

Anyway, the bias on this site is sometimes overwhelmingly large. And it just bothers me because I know Gaga wouldn’t want us to drag Justin to the pits and back. She’s a caring and loving performer and critiques are good but not when they are just to get back at someone.

So we are only allowed to discuss performances if they’re good? Many people here, TIME magazine included, did not like his show, so we are discussing it. That’s the point of a forum, you discuss things.

I just can't.... :triggered: believe this. I don't think even the people that claim they like this (again, I personally have not Witnessed anyone saying that).

I even went to Walmart and Target this weekend and you know the top shelf where they fill the new album they feature??? There was an entire row full of JT at Walmart and about half a row at Target. They were both like full to the edge of the rack. Like as if no one had bought the album. At all. I even saw at the Walmart they had Joanne, Rainbow, Reputation, Chris Stapleton, and Kane Brown still on the front rack and they had more copies gone.

And yet, if this was an article on Gaga you guys would be dragging the critic.

Idk, what’s the point of this thread?

Don’t be annoying. It’s pretty much confirmed that his Superbowl sucked. :triggered:

It's filed under "Music News" because it is music news. Are you new here? Often, reviews of artist performances or albums are posted on the Entertainment Forum. So, that would be the point of this thread...:reductive:

Why are we spreading hate right now?

How the **** is this hate?

Hate is when you hate someone for no reason, or a dumb reason, or simply just to put them down.

This is an HONEST opinion piece article from a REPUTABLE magazine that critiqued Justin Timberlake's performance and validated it through reasoning that is clear and honest. It's only harsh because JT has a long line of ignorance and misogyny that might have been "light and just him being a silly guy" but he always just "get's to slip under the rug" because OMG "he's JT". But his performance was not only visually and sonically subpar, not only did he obviously use lipsynch carelessly (FACT), but the creativity WAS low and the things he did "to make the show seem meaningful" were awkward or simply showed how he still chooses to ignore how he has appropriated culture and **** on people in the past and just gets away with it. Which to me....is ULTIMATELY why it is bad. The best Superbowl Halftime shows know how to connect with a big audience, an everybody audience, a vast diverse audience. Justin Timberlake's show did no recovery and just kept winking at his blind ignorance from the past which shows how out of touch he is considering what's going on in the world today.

He thinks the "Illuminati" (Supplies) and "Steve Jobs" (Filthy) and "being woodsy" (Man of the Woods) makes him relatable. But really, to many people, alot of these issues he ignores or jokes about are real people's lives, not a pop song that should be used for you to dance to and hype yourself up about or stay relevant. He should have gone out there and done something meaningful. Some fun would have been okay....but jumping in the stands (by people who just stood there) and taking a selfie with a random kid was his "awwww" moment????

OUT. OF. TOUCH.

Yes we would 'cause she delivered (vocals, dance, acrobatics and an amazing show overall). As well as the previous performers (Maybe not Coldplay but they kind of did something)

JT didn't. He leaned on backtrack, his vocals were flat, his stage presence was poor and if he had delivered a nice show we wouldn't be complaining.

For my part, I give praise where praise is due.

:bye:

Has Gaga never appropriated culture? Why do we not drag her for it if we drag Justin for it?
