Green Detox 2,779
https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/feb/3/best-buy-stop-selling-cds-starting-july-1-report/ This ain't ok. We hardcore music fans still need our CDs. If the GP doesn't need their compact discs no more then we do. They can go choke with their streams. @Taylor Swift go pen a letter to Best Buy and come save this mess. I'm calling the police.
Edonis 28,950
I would say at least there’s Target, but what if a new Gaga album comes out while I’m in Toronto I can’t wait 3 weeks until I’m back in Houston

Target, on the other hand, is awaiting a response from music suppliers. The discount retailer has asked to be switched to scanned-based trading, which essentially translates to a type of consignment. Presently, the company pays for CDs upfront and shipping fees if they are unsold and returned to the supplier.

It's gonna cause a domino effect and will result to complete removal of CDs everywhere
Sailor 3,321
Digital is the future of music, to be honest. But vinyls only came back into fashion recently, so, there's a market there if only for the nostalgia. bannedT for life and it's SAD
Ashley 9,514
That’s kinda sad. Obviously buying online is more practical but there’s just something about going to the store and buying a cd on its release date. That’s where I bought Joanne. 😭
Ella Taylor 231
Give CD's another 10 years MAX and they will become antiques like VHS Tapes, Cassette Tapes etc Everything is becoming digital, by 2022-2023 when Pluto moves into the Aquarius constellation, expect an entire global shift with booms in technology, medicine, world affairs etc EVERYTHING will revolutionize and transform (Pluto is the planet of Transformation, Death, Rebirth & Revolution) MC
Smother Em Eh 7,132
That sucks because CD’s are a classic and I love them. There’s something about actually being able to hold on to it that I love about it so much. I also love that the physical copies of albums have the album art! Get Applause & G.U.Y to 1B views! Best Buy sells vinyl now but they’re almost double the price of CD’s I have a record player and buy vinyl and am slowly getting all the Gaga vinyl I can. I only have Joanne for now but also want the limited edition pink colored vinyl.
