what makes it funny for me is that if instead of f*ggot or queer (like migos derogatory use) a white group/singer used the N word in a song, their/his/her career would be OVER forever, but it seems that we fags can be slandered over and over and everything's ok. you see migos. you see nicki defending migos. you see cardi b. etc etc etc

homophobia is ok

racism is not ok

and before anyone comes for me, I'M NOT EXCUSING RACISM, i'm just saying every type of discrimination should be judged equally, like our money is.

That’s it. I guess hip hop already went through reclaiming the n word like gays went through reclaiming *******, dike and queer and embrace the latter with pride; nevertheless should one minority who’s constantly whining about voilence not offend/insult another on a frequent basis. But hey, there are also discussions if white people can even be hip hop fans because we’ve got only Eminem, yea, music is only allowed for black ppl right. What a pile of bs :D At least in my country there’s also a lot of rap music about normal stuff, not only gunz, hoes, drugs and being hard calling ppl "******* azz n’s" :P

There's plenty of rap songs that don't shame gay people, ya'll are EXTREMELY misinformed and are in a bubble.....lol.

this ties in to the whole question of why do so many gay men like female singers. And I don't feel like this is a generalization either. It's like when this one dude said "gays only want dance music" or smth like that and I thought: Is he really as wrong as y'all are acting though? :triggered:  Cause I see it in this fanbase all the time..

But it’s true :selena:

gays love dance music primarily :selena:

I’m straight and I love her music. If I’m being honest I liked her way more in the beginning of her career because she was mysterious in a time when everyone knew everything about pop stars. Some people say she alienates straight fans but I don’t really agree with that. I’m not gay but I completely understand and relate to Born This Way.

I was also brought up on classic rock and legendary acts like Fleetwood Mac, Carole King, and a bunch others - I think I found a bit of them in Gaga’s ballads and it drew me to her (I’ve always thought that Speechless and You and I are her best songs).

To each their own I guess. I’ve also found that a gay icon’s concert brings a hella lot more interesting and fun people to their concerts than say others.

@GypsyBabe is that you? :selena:

Because she TURNS them gay. It's called the Gaga spell, it's an actual thing, Look it up.
There's been plenty of recorded cases, some of them totally heartbreaking.:diane:

I mean, look at Greyson Chance, seemed totally straight, then he made the mistake of covering one of Gaga's songs, and from that day onwards he was doomed. The LGBT community swallowed him whole. so sad! :diane:

When did Greyson Chance seem straight? :selena:

Because we ‘The Gays’ make stars. We made her happen, and she knows it. Its a pure relationship from my point of view.
