Honestly I understand their anger. Gaga shouldn't have traveled to America for one performance when she was on tour in another continent.

I understand being upset about the cancellation and the money, but this particular user has repeatedly been quoted to discuss things in a logical way because they’ve been melting down...and well, they haven’t?

And as for the Grammy’s, that’s an entirely different thing altogether. You get invited to perform, and she chose to do that. There’s not much that can be said there, but that’s shouldn’t be an attempt to justify this as something manipulative and villainous like they said in the other thread. That’s ****ed up, especially since it’s already been established that Gaga has severe medical issues.

Of course. Gaga is a true artist who wouldn't just cancel so easily, I'm sure she's broken inside. It's that, if I spend hundreds and even thousands on airplane tickets and hotel accommodations, I would just look at the negative side of it. Surely the GRAMMY visit worsened her pain ten times more. The backlash on FB is huge, but it is what it is. It will pass like everything in the past has.

That comment is from ATRL, not him.

Have you seen his other comments?

If i wanted that, i'd be in a Madonna forum bashing her. I'm not.

Stanning her does not blind me tho, unlike some other people. I have an opinion, i'm sorry u don't like it.

Like I said, feeling upset and hurt that the rest of the tour is canceled is absolutely normal and  to be expected. Posting comments that imply there’s something nefarious going on behind the scenes, particularly when someone is probably very ill, isn’t a matter of whether or not I do or don’t like it. It’s in bad taste at the very least.

Oh I’m sure the backlash is huge, people paid money and rescheduled their lives to attend these shows, so I can understand the warranted frustrations. It’s the other little comments that do rub the wrong way, particularly when it’s something that’s probably out of anyone’s control.

I don't think she would release a DVD based on footage from multiple cities, I think it would look unnatural if you watch Diamond Heart in Birmingham but ScheiBe in London, it just sounds weird, doesn't it? The arenas don't look the same, it would be like watching an amateur compilation of her performances. The DVD has to be on one-go.

It does sound like it wouldn't work, but I've seen a tour DVD which was filmed in two places and I didn't know until I was told afterwards. It's the same stage setup and the fleeting crowd shots don't show much.

The only concerts filmed were both in Birmingham weren't they?

Everyone knows Gaga has a chronic health condition. It is upsetting and really frustrating for a tour to be cancelled but you buy tickets at your own risk. Tbh you buy at your own risk even if the performer doesn't have fibro. Anything can happen at any time.

Am i not allowed to think something strange is going on? I'm not saying she's a bitch or that she's not ill.

I understand that someone with severe body pain shouldn't visit and perform at 2 continents in one week, and two professional performances (Grammys and DVD). Knowing that her physical condition is not the best, and that she has 10 more shows to go of an already cancelled leg...i'd be more careful while deciding what things i should do and what things i shouldn't.

And there's no need to talk about me as 'some user/this user'. You can quote me. I stan by my opinions and i'm open to discussion.

Yeah but the second Birmingham show didn't have a screen. It would be weird if they merge footage from two dates together since it would definitely show that the screen was on and off as we watch the entire thing.

I hope they use footage from the first night of Birmingham and only that night.

Okay then you’ve been quoted.

What kind of inferences and conclusions do you think people are going to take away from several posts in two different threads suggesting that she knew she was going to cancel all along, but went along with it without giving the public the heads up? What kind of conclusions do you think people are going to make, who will Google ‘Lady Gaga cancels JWT’, and when stumble upon this or the other thread and see her own fans quoting comments or insinuating her team is hiding something? What are you trying to imply by posting messages like that.

I swear to god anytime someone defends Lady Gaga on this site, people automatically assume you’re stuck up her ass and think she’s immune to criticism. It is perfectly fair and normal to be disappointed in what has happened, even angry, but going on tangent rants about possible ill intentions behind the cancellation is just gross imo. Like yikes. It’s not even a fan thing, but a human issue.

all the shows get recorded in all dates , don't worry about the footage , there is more than enough.

I don't think they do, at least not in the sense of DVD-quality footage. Why would there be an announcement for only certain dates and why would she tell the crowd that she's filming only in Birmingham if they're all recorded anyway?

There was a huge camera blocking much of our view half the time. It's not always like that.

But yes, even one date's footage should be enough. The only issue was Scheisse, which she did again anyway.

Because when they want to release it on DVD/Blue-Ray , they try to use best cameras in terms of quality and use spider cams and more cameras to have the show recorded from more angles + saying this to crowd always cheers them up. while on other dates they just use medium kinda cameras and they are few in numbers + Gaga's tam need to announce it , because they are filming audience faces and releasing it in wide mass , if they don't announce it can be legally  problematic for Gaga's team.

Like another member already mentioned, the Monster Ball was filmed over the span of 2 shows at Madison Square Garden, one for far shots/audience shots and the other for up close footage of Gaga and the stage. That is more than enough footage, particularly when it’s from a professional company, to compose s great video that fans can enjoy. I wouldn’t sweat too much about it

Yeah I'm not worried, I was always of the opinion that one show is all that needed to be recorded haha.
