Sneaky Oliver 22,062
This so sad!!! I’m so upset! I can’t believe there’s no way she can finish this tour or whatever. And I hope she’s not going through pain because of her team or something! If ir gets worse when she’s overworked, so they can’t let it happen. Is it that unpredictable? Or does it happen so suddenly? Does she needs more days between the dates?
re di tutto 924
So how is she gonna do the Las Vegas residency?

Literally, your first comment on this thread was "I'm actually mad." Listen, no one is faulting you for being upset that your date was canceled. I've been there before! I've been through the same thing, and I understand! It's the fact that you immediately said that she's over outside the U.S. as your first reaction which is a really low blow right now considering what Gaga is going through. It's not like she can help the circumstances regarding her health.
bblough 312
I was just saying yesterday, (talking about Gaga), that she shouldn't have bothered to fly to N.Y. from Europe for the Grammys. It was totally not worth it, because I was afraid she was getting herself sick again, and boom, here comes this news of the cancelation. Also she put herself through the red carpet at the Grammys, which to me, would be super stressful. It must have taken a long time to get her hair just perfect with that braid, and the dress she couldn't even walk in without help. Nothing about the grammy thing was simple. Plus, she shouldn't have done the extra Elton tribute. She can't do so much flying around, and extra stuff. She sang in the rain in N.Y. I think it was, and then did a gig with Brian Newman. She went out with the Born This Way Foundation and helped tear down some mold in somebodies house from Hurricane Harvey. I know she wants to do these things, but it seems like she doesn't realize that doing them, gets her run down. Also, when she drinks, or when she doesn't get enough sleep, that's when she gets run down too. She got really tired in the promo phase of Joanne when she went to England and Japan. I remember her saying something about it being ok because she could manage hardly any sleep. Even though she's young....I think she's going to have to be more careful. She may have to curb her impulses. Also, when she's on the bus.......it's like she is still working.....not resting. I feel lucky and blessed to have seen her in all the concerts in L.A. It just was luck.....and I wish I could trade my experience with someone who has never seen her. I'm really concerned for her, and I hope and pray she gets better. Torsoface 3,262
Oh my god. Cancelling the same gigs twice... The backlash she will get from the European GP
L E O 6,035
Agreed with the message above, flying to the US was the stupidest move her + the team could make. That's all I'll say on that subject. I'll wait for my refunds, and never think of that tour again, for my own sake.
ModernEcstasy 8,995
I attempted suicide in November. My brother died in December. This was the only thing keeping me going. I spent hundreds of pounds. It sounds pathetic, but when you don’t have a lot of money, suffer with bipolar and have no enjoyment out of life, these things matter. I know it’s not her fault. But I just know I will never be booking tickets for her again. I can’t handle the disappointment. It sounds selfish, but this all just falls into place with how my life goes. I’m done. The only way that I will consider going to see her now, is if she starts out with the European dates. She Might actually be able to cope then and not have to cancel on us twice

I have been looking forward to this for months and it's cancelled the day before. At this point I honestly think she needs to retire. She can't keep doing this to herself or her fans. How she thinks she's going to last her Vegas shows, I don't know. I'm sorry, I really am, but "she needs to retire" is way overdramatic. She does need to make her shows more fybro friendly for herself, and give herself more time to rest, but retiring would kill that woman. Her physical health would do better but her mental health would go down the gutter. 4 minutes ago, bleed dior said: So how is she gonna do the Las Vegas residency? the dates a VERY spread out and she wont have to deal with lots of travel. I bet she will still need to rework her show (less intense choreo, tinier heels, more piano time, etc) but knowing her she'll give it her all, and then some. Look at 5 Foot 2, every performance is a struggle for her. She could still release music but live performances just don't suit her body anymore. Whats the point in struggling and abusing her body just for her fans (who she ends up disappointing anyway by cancelling shows?). And yet she has just committed to a two-year residency in Vegas. It makes no sense. She can't keep doing this to herself and her fans. Now I have to go tell my boyfriend that his "best birthday present ever" and his first ever concert has been f*cking cancelled after being postponed 5 months ago. I'm sorry but it's a f*cking joke. If she can't perform, she shouldn't. I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!

I don't know how much my words will help, but try not to take it so much to heart. Born This Way is my most favorite album of all time. The year it was released, I was going through some really difficult crap and dealing with depression and alcoholism. I was so excited to get tickets to the BTWB, and it was SO DAMN DIFFICULT for me to get the tickets in the first place, and my date was one of the ones that was canceled. I was devastated. But, now, these days, it doesn't hurt. I play the album and take comfort in how much it means to me and how much it helped me cope during that period, and that means so much to me. You're not alone. I hope you're OK.

I think she used this tour as a spotlight for her projects: she cancelled the Rio's show right before the documentary, and now she cancel the whole tour after the recordings. Sounds fishy to me..
