ALGAYDO 32,666
All these major publications seem to really dislike the album. Guess he should start planning his Vegas Residency

Mr S 8,672
Yikes they went IN. As expected though, it was more of an attack on the artist than the actual music. The truth is, his music isn't any better or worst than previous albums that got nothing but praise. I mean, you could put "Mirrors" or "Suit and Tie" on this album and it wouldn't feel out of place. The difference is this climate; the media is woke. He was ALWAYS arrogant, full of himself, priveldged, opportunistic. Basically everything this writer says he is, has ALWAYS been there. Yet only now they are noticing it. I guess better late than never. I personally have love hate relationship with the guy. I like seeing him do well because there aren't enough big male pop stars. And he never really affected my faves. Though I never really cared for his music. It can be inventive at times, but it just doesn't do it for me. I never play any of his old music. If "Cry me a river" came on the radio, I'd bop to it, but I never actively listen to it. Anyways, I still never thought I'd see the day the media would turn on him. freebit 6,240
Conflicted. JT and his music has always been overrated, and it gives me such glee that JT, whiny baby that he is, is finally experiencing scrutiny and backlash...but I also hate when critics review the person rather than the music. Couldn't happen to a more deserving person, I guess.
Batwings 12,885
Could someone enlighten me? I've never been a huge fan of Timberlake's work, with the exception of a couple of songs, and I've always thought he was overrated as ****, but he always seemed to be like a pretty decent guy. Why is everyone suddenly hating him? Does he have a reputation™ for being an asshole?
