Personally, I thought she was trying too hard to have a "moment".

Even if it wasn't intentional, it certainly came off that way.

It was emotional, that's all. 

Her vocals weren't good and the back up singers seems out of place. It turned out kinda awkward with a bunch of guest performers on that stage just for harmonizing.

She could've done it better, since I know she's capable of doing it better, she was probably sad because she was snubbed by ginger rat. :sis:

It’s sad that her worst performance for Praying will be the one people will remember, when there’s plenty of times she’s KILLED it! On Jimmy Fallon, for example. I think she was just too emotional and ****

I mean, she was either crying or holding back tears the whole time so...no? Hard to be on your A-game when your emotional. But, people prefer to watch raw emotion through song than honed-vocals and no depth to the performance. She's performed well elsewhere, so I assume a) being at the Grammys b) being surrounded by her peers) and c) singing with select peers was very emotional. She screamed through most of the song but I'm sure that's the only way she'd get through it.
