They are PRIVATE, between two people and only two people, not for the world to see. There is something called privacy, which I like, and I think this world is exposing to many people's private messages and conversations, that are private. Let's be 100% real. Nope. The most "scandalous" thing you'd find on my phone is my shitty poetry and the satire stories that my friends and I write about ourselves (completely innocent too). It's just giving more power to people who actually use these words in a derogatory way and don't care (à la Paul brothers with their countless racial remarks). Sometimes you just say stuff and it's funny at that moment with that person because of that context. Ofc 5 years later nobody will understand from where it comes from and will just see the offensive stuff. EDIT : before anyone comes at me. Let’s give this girl a chance tbh, she’s not even legally allowed to consume alcohol yet! Like, I still want her to get called out because she deserves it and I believe it’s the first step to changing someone’s behavior and POV, but let’s be fair and rational about it. You can have a pretty close to clean chat and people will find a way to be offended regardless. All they need to find is that 1 thing and then suddenly it's the end of the world.
