It's sad that people are ignorant about this mental condition. And it's worse when people still want to be ignorant rather than be educated because then it'll only lead to more suppressed pedophiles with no treatment because they don't want to be exposed and will harm other people in the future.

nope i definitely do not view it as modern/contemporary issue, far from it 

both men and women are capable of committing child sexual abuse its true, but there's no denying in the fact that most child abusers are males by a large margin so we should investigate why this happens so frequently and why we facilitate this behaviour

Yes, of course these people have mental problems. But that doesn't mean they don't deserve the worst treatment. Diagnostic of mental disorder happens when one's issues unables him to properly function. In this case, Mark Salling was a completely normal guy who was able to maintain a normal daily life. He didn't have any mental issues that affected his cognition or social behaviour and his sexual problems don't come from any disorder (for example, you could try to excuse someone who truly has a cognition delay, which still is no reason not to judge them).

So, whoever is trying to justify his behaviour and making him a lesser monster than he actually was, stop. Is suicide the best option? Probably not. The best option was his rightful sentence. But he did what he did and he was very likely aware of how severe it was. So he killed himself. I don't see why we should discuss this further, I think it ended and no one should feel sorry. I'm sure he felt sorry for himself. Let's move on.

Sorry, wrong approach. It's not about apologizing, it's about describing and about being responsible or not. Don't repeat the rightwing "law-and-order" -slogans. Serious illnesses are not about "justifying" their act but rather about the question of guiltiness. He is guilty.
