EDIT: The above comment is one that is fueled by pent up rage built up over this case. The thought of this man jerking off to babies makes me physically ill. I'm sorry if my comment upset you, but understand that there are people who do not think stuff like this can be forgiven.

I do want to make clear that I respect your choice to feel compassion towards Mark, but respect my choice to be angry and relieved that a little bit of justice has been served for these children.

That's rude, no matter of what allegations he had, nobody deserved to die, people changes, most of them, and it's not even proven just yet if it's real or not, dont be rude on such serious topics as suicide.

Obviously what he did was wrong, but this is saddening. He is a product of his brain development and environment. I just wonder what caused him to find this attractive... maybe we should try to find the source of the problem rather than wishing or celebrating death upon people.

Yes, pedophilia is nasty. However, it is still a mental condition that society refuses to treat.

People who have pedophilia cannot talk about it. There is no help for them. If they discuss it with a therapist, they are at risk of being reported. I think society needs to help these kinds of people.

People who are into stuff like that need help, not death.

One of my closest friends has struggled with sexual fetishes that most people would consider disgusting (though it's nothing on that same scale as Mark here). He feels like a freak and hates himself and regularly talks about how much of a mistake he is for his desires.

You don't wish those people harm or encourage suicide. You help them.
