I wasn't pressed because Gaga didn't win; but I was disappointed 'cause they should've given the award who are actually worthy of it. I can't deny Ed's talent but boi the Grammy's have to be so much better than THAT.

exactly, her last hit before MR was Applause and she only had MR getting into the top 5 during the Joanne era and look what she accomplished, she even managed to sell out nearly all her tour dates

i'd like to see anyone else who's previous hit was in 2013 accomplish a slither of what gaga has done

her streaming numbers may be low and a hit would fix that but everything she's done since 2015 has been loved by basically everyone who isn't a salty forum stan and she's made SO much money

it's harder work but it pays off, she only had one mild hit since Applause and still managed to sell out the tour with an insane gross for how short it is

The two big question marks are for ASIB and her Vegas residency. I mean if ASIB the movie is a massive hit (which will be hard considering it’s R rated) then the ASIB soundtrack could also blow up and became a massive seller. Album soundtracks can sometimes dominate the charts. Secondly, her Vegas residency will be a major drawcard for the city which has always relied on shows that are theatrical, and that’s exactly what Gaga is. So her shows could give her an opportunity to be GAGA again, and for past fans to relive their nostalgia for “the old Gaga”. 2018 won’t be a make-or-break year. That was 2016-2017. And she succeeded (Coachella, Super Bowl, Grammy noms, finally being a streaming artist, her Insta posts are regularly getting 1million+ likes etc).

as long as her acting is good, she has nothing to worry about tbh but i think releasing music that'll be commercial enough to boost her streaming is a great idea for this year and probably part of their plan

if the movie tanks: "well, at least her new song is a bop" or "at least she's good at acting", if it does well: "she ALSO has bops! "  

as for vegas, we can certainly expect a very theatrical show just like every other show she's done

Tbh she really deserved at least one Grammy. She poured her soul into this album and it's said to see it wasn't recognized. Can't wait for her next album. It will probably have the biggest momentum. 

It would have been nice if she wont Pop Vocal and Kesha won for Praying.

You know what will make me feel better? Joanne the song doing really well on the charts. It might be a delusion to hope that it will enter the Top 10 on Billboard but that would be the perfect payback. 

Either way, she was nominated and that says a lot, it means Joanne was a succesful album and it was criticly aclaimed.
