When will we have a new trend in pop music?

I want something like Taylor Swift's -Dancing with our Hands Tied or Madonna's -Die Another Day.

Sounds that have a late 90s early 2000s house/techno sound. It's not something I usually like but with a modern twist, it could be cool.

Anyways the change of those trends is vague. Since 2015 we can say there were trop-pop, dancehall, trap, acoustic pop.

Indie Rock already had its time in 2013-2015. There were many popular bands like The Black Keys, Kongos, and Muford and Sons, during that time. And some pop stars like One Republic and Fun also had that sound. It never became THE big trend but that was its peak. Who knows if it could come back bigger but it is actually less popular than it was a few years back.
