Has Justin Bieber peaked? Or is there more left from him to come?

ELEMENTALITY

Obviously Justin Bieber bounced back from alot of hatred that had accumulated from 2012-2015 with his Skrillex+ Diplo touched "Where Are U Now?" It only seemed to take one massive hit to bring him back in and people forgive him, catapulting his "Purpose" record in 2015-2016 to be his most successful era of his career, scoring 3 #1 Billboard Hot 100 Hits ('What Do You Mean?', 'Sorry', and 'Love Yourself'). He also followed that era featuring arguably the biggest song in the world of 2017, "Despacito", which went #1,  and another #1 with DJ Khaled produced "I'm the One". (It might be noted that before 2015, Justin Bieber actually had never scored a Billboard Hot 100 #1 Hit). (It also might be noted within this time frame his feature on Major Lazer's "Cold Water" peaked just shy of the top at #2, and his feature with DJ Snake on "Let Me Love You" sat comfortably for weeks at #4). In 20 months Justin Bieber went from having 0 #1s to 5 #1s.

It seems after cancelling the rest of his Purpose tour, flirting and (going to bars???) with his pastor and hooking back up with Selena has been on his radar lately along with a bit of a quiet break. His last single, Bloodpop produced "Friends" charted in the Top 5, giving him a strong moderate hit before going completely quiet again. So here we are again. The public disdain for Bieber isn't at an all time high, but he certainly didn't completely clean up his image the way he had promised to when crying on stage at the VMAs in 2015.

Considering that Justin has been casually in and out of the studio lately and beginning work on his next album with a potential end Q4 2018-Q2 2019 release, do you think Bieber will bounce back to the top as easy as he did before? Or is the public's forgiving nature with him wearing thin? Or...do you think his rumored upcoming "gospel-pop woke" album will be his career peak? An enlightenment? Or will Bieber forget the charts and pull a Joanne, putting out a meaningful album now that he's got Selena back and his church pastor to get on his knees for on the side? :hor: Is Bieber's future on top or bottom?

I'm just curious what monsters think. Has Bieber peaked? Or is there more big things from him to come?

artistically he never even made it imo lmao he is a **** musician sorry not sorry. but commercially, he's like Rihanna or Drake, there's no peaking. he'll always sell millions of albums and songs cuz of his fanbase and trendy songs

He had a MASSIVE peak with his debut. Bieber fever was everything.

After that, we went in a downspiral with his personal issues and no one thought he would recover. Everyone knew he was over. But he was not. He actually was able to have a new peak in his career and even make a new genre the hit trend (which is actually amazing).

So, he's one of the few artists I might believe can always come back if he wants. Yes, he will peak again.

Most of his success over the last few years was more about the songs and less about him, could have been anyone singing those songs

- Where Are Ü Now (Skrillex)

- Sorry (Skrillex, BloodPop)

- Friends (BloodPop)

- Love Yourself (Ed Sheeran)

He's like the male version of Rihanna. So you can expect him jumping into trends and remaining relevant through collabs and stuff.

I think he already peaked, but the charts are so unpredictable...

Because she stopped promoting it. We all know she can get her next single to #1 if she tries. :saladga:
