Even with Trumps tax cuts for wealthy and Trudeau's tax hikes for rich here's a comparison: Canada Corporate Taxes: 15% USA Corporate Taxes: 21% (35% before) Canada Top income bracket: 33% (29% before) USA Top Income Bracket: 35% (39% before) Canada Small Business Tax: 9% USA: 13.3% (effective tax rate after loopholes, couldn't find the base rate) Both Countries have loopholes which make actual taxes lower and the US probably has more loopholes but my point is they are not that low on taxes.
