The hate i got from people on ggd outside this thread when i said MR would be peformed at the superbowl and go top 10 after. 

I'm glad most of this thread has supported the song since day one

Wait, we’re not talking about which song is known ww but which song is straights’ favourite, sis. Both Applause and MR are. The first one is used in GTA and those smelly ass teenagers love it and MR is a ballad that is universally loved *despite its localness*.

Gaga has attracted an older audience with C2C and Joanne and yes a lot of them are straight. A lot of my co-workers loved MR.

I'm kinda mad the joanne promotion was US only. I'm sure european countries would have liked Million Reasons aswell. Gaga needs a "she can sing !!" moment in europe and I think they just missed an opportunity with that song. But maybe, hopefully, it can happen with ASIB.

If they had put MR in TTH and each country top hits playlists  and they had pushed the song to radio i'm sure we would had peaks top 20 atleast all over the world. For example in sweden, the song spent like 8 months just outside the top 100 and is eligible for platinum but had a peak only at 71. It was almost in none of the promoted playlists here, had like 1 radio spin at most every day at day time and no peformances aired (except VS and superbowl that had like no viewers). It was liked and had longetivty but not enough people got to know the song since there weren't any push for it.

Italy and Swittzerland on the other hand had the song played on radio alot and in spotify playlists specific for their countries and it manged to peak 7 and 12 and was one of the longest staying gaga singles evere there. It's really to bad how they treated the song apart from peformances in the US
