Tbh I can see that it will be kind of the underdog for the awards shows. Not many people expected it to be good or not many people know about this movie and I think many will be positively surprised....

Ok can we give Gaga the love she deserves? This woman went from being panned in 2015 and 2016 for her acting to being the favourite amongst very big releases.  I know a lot of you joke about how Joanne was not what the fans wanted and all that, but there's no lying that Gaga is ever evolving, regardless of what you personally think/want.

She does so much for us (and for her own legacy, of course) but we're still assholes to her. Ugh, queen.

Do you ever stop to think how she gave us one of the best Super Bowl performances, ever, just last year? Do you ever stop to think how she went to hell and back with hip pain and chronic pain to give us an acrobatic performance, something she only learned to do AFTER her hip injury?

Do you ever stop to think how, IN BETWEEN FILMING FOR ASIB, she performed for two weekends at Coachella? She could have easily said no to Coachella and just focused on her film, instead she put herself through hell I am sure to please us fans.

I am sure you're a big fan. Or were. You probably know how many years have gone by that we Monsters have asked for a documentary regarding her album era. We got that less than a year ago. Did she have to humiliate herself (at least in her own opinion, when she says "do i look pathetic?" during a fibro attack) in front of many cameras? Nope, she did not. She did it, though, and I am sure she mostly did it to give us something we've been asking for for years. 

Let's take it up a notch.

Gaga on the big screen has been in plan since 2011 when she was on Ellen and talked about wanting to work on a film. Her acting was subject to some hate in 2013 for Machete Kills and then 2015 for AHS. Literally 2 years later she has turned into an audience-favourite and praised everywhere. She's ever growing to become a legend. While people like Mariah Carey (sadly) lose their voices due to not caring for their legacy, Gaga keeps on working harder each year to make sure everyone knows she's in it for the long run. Us being fans obviously are entertained seeing Gaga being so successful. 

So, go chill at home. Sit in bed, and ask yourself, "what have I done?" Probably not even 5% of what she's done in 2017 alone.
