The song is cute. But will it be enough :giggle:

I got kind of disappointed twice because at first it sounds like a ballad, then like a drum n bass song and then it's kinda like what we've heard already. But she is cute. :music:

i was dissapointed it wasn't a ballad :selena:

Warner is really doing an exemplary job of changing the perception initially formed of ASIB as a "disaster project" to the Best Picture Contender. It's awfully early but perception is reality.

Another distinguished journalist covering the cinema Anne Thompson included ASIB on her list of Oscars Best Picture Predictions.

Frontrunner:
“Black Panther” (Ryan Coogler)

Contenders:
“Backseat” (Adam McKay)
“BlacKkKlansman” (Spike Lee)
“First Man” (Damien Chazelle)
“If Beale Street Could Talk” (Barry Jenkins)
“Mary Queen of Scots” (Josie Rourke)
“On the Basis of Sex” (Mimi Leder)
“A Star is Born” (Bradley Cooper)
“Where’d You Go, Bernadette?” (Richard Linklater)
“Widows” (Steve McQueen)

Long Shots:
“Beautiful Boy” (Felix Von Groeningen)
“Boy Erased” (Joel Edgerton)
“Can You Ever Forgive Me?” (Marielle Heller)
“The Favourite” (Yorgos Lanthimos)
“The Front Runner” (Jason Reitman)
“The Old Man and the Gun” (David Lowery)
“Peterloo” (Mike Leigh)
“Roma” (Alfonso Cuaron)
“The Sisters Brothers” (Jacques Audiard)

Supersonic

Ariana's new song doesn't sound like anything on the radio right now and it's a super high risk to release that as the lead. But if it does well against initial expectations, I could see this becoming her first #1, and not just for a week.
