Kesha's album was far better received than Gaga's, FYI. I'd rather Gaga win but let's not act as though Kesha isn't deserving. Yeah I agree. While I think Joanne (and MR) is the better album, Rainbow (and Praying) are good too. I just think MR deserves it more but Kesha's situation has played a big role in her win, if she eventually wins. That's all.

ZiggyZiggs 29,975
pretty sure half of you guys dragging kesha hasn't even listened to rainbow. which is btw an excellent album. very well written andproduced with so much emotion. ya'll have to understand when a song is nominated or when a song wins, it's just not about the quality of the song or which song is THE BEST, it's everything, inc the timing, the story, EVERYTHING. PerfectGUY 7,822
Let's not act like Kesha is on the Trashsmokers level of quality in music Praying is one of the best song of 2017. Yes, I'd rather have Gaga winning but Praying IS a good song
Doncho 27,241
Imagine Shape of You still winning in the actual ceremony. Wouldn t surprise me tbh
nick4bty 2,758
Or maybe they're doing pop vocal album near the end of the pre telecast so they can wait for Gaga arrive to accept her award

That's all. We are stans, obviously we’re going to say Joanne and MR are better but in reality, they’re worse in terms of critical performance. And this critical performance counts for The Grammys, so Kesha not only has an advantage over Gaga with her current story but also, the critics are on her side. However, I still hope Gaga’s going to win.
Edible Cloud 11,255
So, because she's not front row so she's definitely not winning anything ? It's a joke ?

The world does not revolve around Gaga. If Kesha wins, I'll be very happy for her given her story. If you’re quoting me, highlight the whole sentence babe, i was talking about Grammy’s reputation. I like Kesha but there is no world in which she deserves these awards of tonight more than Gaga when Gaga is literally there to perform her heart out for four years in a row (including a David Bowie tribute that brought a lot of backlash including Bowie’s son himself), is used to promote the broadcast with billboards all around the country and has already a consistent Grammy nominations and wins reputation. If you prefer Praying winning because you like it more than Million Reasons is another cup of tea, but Gaga does deserves more than her from an objective point of view and nobody can deny that. Like i said some days ago, it would be more understandable if Gaga loses to Ed than if she loses to Kesha or any other nominee. EDIT: Oh and the world does not revolve all around Gaga but Grammys seems to do it since a few years now wanting her to perform there and spreading all her photos to promote themselves, so my point remains valid. “Come over, when you’re sober”
ARTPOPNick 3,486
Gaga just deserves 1 grammy this year, but oh well.. let's see how it turns out Not trying to be shady or something, but is it just me or didn't Praying really reach Europe? I never heard the song on the radio (and I have to admit, I didn't even bother to listen to it, so I'm now gonna listen to it for the first time) + if 'Praying" is "That" good, why isn't it nominated for Song of the year? Song of the year is about the writing? But maybe I don't get the "Pop Solo performance" thing
