Im not denying she does commerical things I just don't think her sound is at all commerical. So how can I possibly call her mainstream if I don't think her music/sound reflects that at all. Sure Joanne got a music video but it's not professionally directed and glossed up like normal music videos by many other acts are. I think there are two ways of looking at it. I don't know maybe I'm wrong. yes her sound is not commercial and she does nothing like the standards in the industry but she is still one of the most commercial succesful one so gaga is still commercial.
