But I can understand some of what you are saying. She is going to go through many different phases throughout her career, and some things I completely understand why people might be nostalgic and wish for older style Gaga, and some stuff I think they need to move on from and appreciate new things. 1989monster 17
I think the thing that bothers me most about her is that she has stopped putting in the effort that she used to. There used to be an artistic approach to everything she did. Everything had thought and intent behind it. This last album was a lazy attempt at a record that she created and put out in six months with Mark Ronson. Her other albums took years to curate and she collaborated with so many different producers/artists/creative directors/etc. Joanne was lazy, the Joanne Tour was lazy. I've seen every tour she has ever done, and she has lost her spark completely. She went through the motions at the Joanne Tour, and it was my least favorite tour she has ever done. I've been with her from the beginning and am disappointed in her. I get it. I get she wants to have somewhat of a normal life and be happy, but her work, music, and art have suffered tremendously. AlexanderMagno 10,746
Well I don't think she has changed for the better, but that's me and I'm fine with it. Gaga changed and I'm not obliged to follow her for the rest of my life. She can do whatever she wants and I think she should, I'd do the same if I had the same amount of money. What really annoys me are the fans who think I shouldn't talk about this just because she's some kind of holy spirit. And even if she has changed, that doesn't mean I will log off or never come to GGD again, because nevertheless I like knowing what she's doing and she was a big part of my life back then. So stop writing stuff like you're the only type of fan who matters or has the right to say anything. You're just one more naive stan who believes everything a pop star says. (at least I hope so). She've changed too, and it is nothing wrong with that. Of course people change, but she changed and lost her essence, what made her unique, now she is just one more singer of the rest. We all miss the iconic Gaga, she always planned everything, everything she did had a great concept and the videos she gave us were art. Here's to our brand new start, I won't be waiting for nothing. I'll mend the broken parts. Pick up the pieces,

Instead of telling people how to stan or not an artist maybe you should spend your time schooling yourself and RESPECTING her past and all the things she went through to "be rich and healty and successful enough to have huge tours", because if she didn't accept every single opportunity she could to perform in front of whatever crowd she could to get known (and that includes clubs, parking lots, shopping malls, bars and lot more) she would be NOWHERE near as huge as she is now. I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but she didn't get to perform at the Super Bowl because of ARTPOP, Cheek To Cheek, or Joanne but because she worked her ass off since TEN FKING YEARS AGO. Now go learn your mistakes or get the fùck outta here you motherfùcking disrespectful ass. (And I already know you probably won't get that reference anyway ) YAAASSSSS Honestly, I don't hate her today or stan her less, I adore the woman but you cannot deny that back then it was the day to be a monster, people would come to you, older relatives, and tell you about some Gaga look, it was amazing. And if Gaga is where she is now is because she made sure back then, that EVERYONE knew her name.
DELETETHIS745638 2,101
I agree with you but I feel it is only natural in our fan base to expect only the greatest from Gaga, because we know she is capable of it. She always delivers and exceeds our expectations and it is clear that LG6 will do that yet again. She is coming to slay next era

She was 20, now she is 30. I don't know how it is when it comes to men, but for women from 25yo to 30's it's a huge change in your lives.
Jwow 52
I hate comparing to other singers but when I look what Beyonce did after her first super bowl, I don't expect less for Gaga's next era. I'll be so disappointed if we get another lazy project like Joanne. And we are already starting on the wrong foot with the Vegas thing imo

The Monster Ball v.1.0 is flawless aesthetically. She hasn't topped it (aesthetically) for any tour since. The Monster Ball v.2.0 is undeniably iconic and one of the biggest pop tours of the 21st century. THAT BEING SAID, vocally JWT is superior to all of her previous and I think its aesthetically her best effort since The Monster Ball v.1.0. Its hard to compare Joanne to the iconic and career defining Monster Ball and thus it comes up a little short by default. But personally I think the JWT is her best tour since The Monster Ball. Imo. Blame them. Perfectly said, these people base their taste on the song's success, if Bad Romance and her hits flopped, they would hate it and call it a mistake on her career. And if PI was a super smash, millionaire hit, they would say its the best song of her career. Happened with Applause, on launch week everyone was praising it, then Roar came out and the same kids that were praising it started saying it was an awful single choice. And with Born This Way, they said it was underwhelming for the hype and tainted with the madonna thing, then the numbers came in and suddenly everyone loved it.
