„We need to stop putting celebrities into that position“

Y‘all do realize that Trump is not the first celeb to be voted into office right. Republican celebs relied on their star power more than once to get elected lmao

But that doesn’t mean we want that to continue :triggered:

Reagan, now let’s evaluate trickle down economics.

I was so surprised there wasn't one when I first heard. I understand that we want to give freedom and equal chances, but come on. People need qualifications to operate a garbage truck but not for a presidency?

But you forget about the hundreds of specialists and assistants who works behind the scene. Nobody has the knowledge to run a country alone.

What is wrong isn't the qualification of a canditate. What is wrong is that American people voted for an unexperienced candidate. That's concerning.

They get Donald, we get Oprah. And then let’s never do the celeb thing again.

I don't mind her running for president at all, she seems like a great person and has done great charity work. It'll be interesting who'll be her first man. Also the Gates' should run, they are great people and can do great for the world.

It will continue because conservative people are non-picky eaters (if you just cater to their tastes) and will continue to abuse a faulty system, while liberal people are hoity toity better than thou picky messes that are willing to shut down the probably most capable and emotionally intelligent person currently alive just for the sake of satisfying self-serving principles without even giving her a chance to actually say her piece.

Lmao y’all should understand that it doesnt matter if they have any political experience or not. At the end of the day, they’re just a ‘face’ tbh. People are delusional if they think that the president is the one who decides what happens and what doesn’t, there are numerous forces being the scenes. At the end of the day, anyone who is president should be someone who’s mentally stable and capable,  because people need hope. And Trump is NOT that face. But Oprah can be imo

I agree but I’d rather have someone who understands the system and is experienced than someone who just “gives us hope.”

Right? I want someone educated, with extensive knowledge about politics, society etc.

Like any other job, requirements and experience >

I blame the framers of the constitution. They should of included a clause stipulating that the president must have some sort of economic/military/law experience.

The presidency has drastically changed since the 1700s, before the industrial revolution they were only seen as clerks and only had the national spotlight during times of war and elections. But i'm surprised they haven't added an amendment to it (maybe they will after you know who :stalkga:).

This rumour has been going on for years. I hope she at least tries it. She is a great self made role model in almost every way. She has the Brains, Heart and Commitment. Three things the current Reality Tv Personality in Office doesn’t have. Except when it comes to his own TRUMP brand ofcourse.

The Current face of the US is a disgrace. I would rather read about President Winfrey on my news app, and rather see and hear her on my tv than TRAMP.
